In an attempt to give myself a chance to practice designing icons, I created a personal project out of it. I noticed when I was in college that I had been impacted by family, friends, colleagues, and professors. So, I took the liberty of distilling down how they had impacted me, aspects of their character, and the context in which I encountered them and created an icon to represent them. However, I decided that an icon was not enough to complete this project. I also wrote a description about each person and why I chose that icon and created personalized thank you cards to give to them.
